A sad day - his death serves to me as a reminder of just how twisted you can become if you listen to and embrace the worst voices out there. I didn't know him - but I know others who have gone down the same dark path. They're almost unrecognizable from the friends and good people they once were.

If you're a Discord user and you dislike the new feature they rolled out to put message previews under every person's name in the Direct Messages tab, here's the setting to remove it! It's Settings > Chat > DM List Message Previews.
To me having the previews on every DM really clutters it up.

My friend made a neat tool that you can use to get a turbulence map of your flight - so you'll have an idea in advance of when things might get bumpy in the air. It's pretty cool and I use it every time I fly!

This really undercuts Swen's angry denial. This discussion is the same whiny nonsense "but we have to use it! its technology!" that we're seeing from SO MANY CEOS that are shoving AI down their employees' throats.

This really undercuts Swen's angry denial. This discussion is the same whiny nonsense "but we have to use it! its technology!" that we're seeing from SO MANY CEOS that are shoving AI down their employees' throats.

The only thing more disappointing than Larian's CEO going 'yay AI' is people forgiving it because they made BG3.
And sure, they're not using it *as badly* as others, but:
1) Basically replacing concept artists is bad.
2) A CEO saying "everyone here is okay with it!" does not mean that it is true.
