She's absolutely NOT dumb. She thought Jimmy was calling her dumb, then he started mocking her, so it wasn't entirely random. As for Teeny/Sai, as soon as she heard the thing that she missed hearing before, she immediately was like "oh, ok!" and she also explained the trust issues.

by making the importance of the arm grab more and more exaggerated each time she retells. She is STILL talking about Rachel, calling her the B word and C word, and it just feels really gross.

That's horrible, I hope you feel better soon! Ava chose Vince, who she wanted to be evicted, to go first, which guaranteed his safety, instead of choosing an ally. She then spent the next several days bad-mouthing Rachel (who was gone; they never say anything to her face) and justifying her choice

Umm...she DID snap. Or, at least, used it as an excuse to justify her actions after the fact. The sleeve grab really seemed to stem from Ava leading Rachel to believe they were actual friends. If you're not watching the feeds, you don't know how nasty Ava is when her "I'm quirky" mask comes off.
