7. Jennifer's Body

I feel like the messaging is surpassed by any one of the first 3 Pokémon movies. The scariest part is an unsolicited appearance of Chris Pratt who plays a small time cop - s basically he's not acting. This movie has nothing to offer outside of Megan Fox saying 'fuck' every 10min.

This IS the last one... rite? There's not much to say here; the Warrens were hacks, Ed was an abusive pedo, and the movies are more religious trauma rather than horror.

5. Monster Squad

A 'children's movie' confused with its own plot and tone. Dracula has a batmobile, there's a near divorce subplot for no reason, and lots of 80's words that aren't okay today. Honestly it's just a spooky DLC for the Goonies.

3. LONGLEGS

I adore this film. It's very moody with amazing performances that subdue themselves for the sake of the tone and atmosphere. Director Osgood Perkins makes an amazing piece that peers right into his very own life - for better or worse. Stunning soundtrack!

2. Casper

An old classic that holds up pretty well. Now watching it as an adult with kids, the movie hits different. No perfect, but not irrevocably flawed either.

1. Weapons

I'm still thinking about this movie. I wouldn't say its some gift from heaven, but it's a deeply personal piece. And that human aspect of art is what keeps drawing me back to it.
