I think I phrased that badly. I feel bad that I want to know how much it would cost, knowing I wont be able to have the money to request the commission for a bit. So like I am taking their time away from others who are going to be getting something now. (no idea if that makes better sense)

What is the proper procedure to find out how much a commission would cost if you know you wont be able to get it for a few months?
