Ever since I learned that the little hat on top of vowels in French used to be an s I keep trying to find the equivalent English word that still has the s, like:
Hôtel - Hostel
Hôpital - Hospital
Forêt - Forest
Pâtiserie - Pastry
I don't want to look up a wordlist, I just like

On my endless quest to not include christianity into my fantasy novel I have realised today that I technically can't use "to fall from grace" as an expression... I think I'm gonna let this one slip through the cracks though 😮💨

Last year I read over 60 books (well, listened to the vast majority of them) and I think that's over the maximum I can take emotionally. It just feels like it overfills my brain to constantly be in a new fictional story??? I think I need to reread more old books this year 😔

Sometimes I have to remember that I'm talking to 6 year olds at work and that they do not understand the legal difference between a marriage and a civil partnership and also that they do not remember the lockdown...

We have Wyll in our party and all I could think about is how fashion has to change when you have such giant horns on your head. Like, you can't really pull any shirt over your head, everything has to be a vest.
