I've updated my inner-city bike route map.

It's based on traffic stress and can be saved on your Google Maps app.

Green = Off-road
Blue = Low traffic stress or protected lanes
Orange = Medium traffic stress
Red = High traffic stress
Black = Poor connection

QUT will take over famous literary magazine Meanjin, after the journal was closed by Melbourne Uni Publishing last year.

This is a win for all who campaigned to save the masthead, but hardly makes up for the damage done last year www.smh.com.au/culture/book...

Approaching old age (30+)? I want YOU for my newsletter Opinions from the Bog.

Writers need very strong views but absolutely ZERO educational attainment on race, political correctness, and global warming.

I can teach you how to open Google Chrome but you need to supply your own loo roll.

Youths on the tram. Somewhat disorderly but not disruptive. They were debating how to obtain food and/or goods since they're 'banned from the supermarket, banned from the plaza, banned from the local shop'.

Joseph and I will be having dinner in the city on Monday. Protests are good for the economy.

American's often seem stumped by the word 'bolognese'. Do they not make it or do they call it something else?

Now and then I think there might be something useful for the artificial intelligence. Tonight, I asked the three main players if they've discovered, or inferred, or hypothesised anything that humanity hasn't yet, from the vast collections of data and material the AIs have gathered (stolen).

Holding onto handrails may help to prevent falls, but is it really worth the risk of a fungal infection?

Once stamped at all five new stations, you get a set of commemorative pins.

I'm now a Street View celebrity at work. I've been discovered in November 2025 imagery riding my enormous bicycle down the middle of a road (I was merging to the right lane to turn right).

Trains and coaches cancelled in much of regional Victoria tomorrow due to 'catastrophic' fire danger declaration.

For those able to spend a couple of nights in Melbourne, it might be best to come this evening.
