I'll say it again, Art is communication.

"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.

Bonus art advice: Stop hating your art. That’s it. I’ve seen so many people completely give up on art because they hate their own work, and it’s sad as fuck. Stop comparing yourself to others. There will always be artists more skilled than you, and that’s a hard truth. Love your art anyway.
