As a former federal worker, I remember the financial stress of a shutdown. That’s why I’ve refused to accept pay until the government reopens.

⚡️ UNCONSTITUTIONAL: Rep. Justin J. Pearson & Rep. Gabby Salinas send letter putting Gov. Bill Lee on notice that his deployment of the National Guard to Memphis violates the TN Constitution.

Lawmakers ask Governor for community investments to eradicate poverty instead of military occupation.

Mike Johnson: "If you're a young, pregnant American citizen women who shows up in an ER and you get treated and they pay the hospital less for treating you than some illegal rabble rouser who came in from some South American country to do us harm, that is wrong."

BREAKING: A federal judge has temporarily blocked President Trump from deploying federalized National Guard troops into Chicago.

This ruling reinforces what we already knew: It is illegal for the president to use manufactured emergencies to send soldiers into our cities.

So proud of the people and leadership of Chicago! Keep up the good work! Keep looking out for each other! Its so shitty we are in this place but dont stop recording or reporting wrongful and illegal ICE behavior.

In the next six months or so, there will be a cascade of Republicans abandoning Trump after realizing that breaking with him means a primary challenge they might lose and sticking with him means a general election they'll definitely lose.
