My dad got me a subscription when I was a kid. Kept them in boxes for years before eventually getting rid of them in one of many moves as an adult. Wish I had kept them.

If you are a foreign president who commits crimes overseas, America will come get you, arrest you, and lock you up.

But if you are a US president who commits crimes here in the United States, America will give you immunity from prosecution, reelect you, and bribe you with billions of dollars.

On December 28, 1958, the Baltimore Colts defeated the New York Giants in the NFL Championship held at Yankee Stadium. It was the first contest ever decided in sudden-death overtime. Several star players in the game were WWII combat veterans, including Gino Marchetti and Emlen Tunnell.

In mid-December 1944, Germany launched its last major offensive of WWII. The intense fighting that ensued became known as the Battle of the Bulge — and one of the bloodiest battles of the war. Among those fighting was future Hall of Fame pitcher Warren Spahn. #wwii #mlb #MakeNazisTheBadGuysAgain

Regardless of the final outcome, this year’s MLB playoffs have been epic. Thank you. Also, a big thank you to Japan, Mexico, Venezuela, DR, Cuba, South Korea and Canada for making America’s game so profoundly meaningful.
