Doing away with word count goals. I’ve tried it over and over, and it’s more stifling (for me anyway). I feel like my writing flows better when I’m more focused on the plot than how many words I’m actually typing if that makes sense. 🤷🏾♀️ #authorthoughts

I love stories based around families, and this one is about black cowboys- another bonus. It’s starting off a little slow, but based on the events of the first few chapters, I can tell it’s gonna be a good read. I’ll definitely post a review when I’m done. #blackbooksky #currentlyreading
