Other than “bury your gays,” the trope I loathe is “last-minute gay.”
The reveal tossed in at the end, oh, surprise, they’ve been Queer all along!
That’s why I write stories where Queer people never have to wonder, “Is this character Queer?” They are. In my books, Queer is normal from the start.

politicians preach political violence is wrong because it means they could be executed by vigilante justice. And one thing politicians do not want, rather it be Republicans, Democrats, conservatives or liberals, is for the people to rise up and take matters into their own hands.

This is not the time to stop creating. This is a time to take your money (your capital) and invest in communities you want to see. There's no exuse. Stop using your power (money) to feed a system that doesn't support you.
