Reasons why you should never, ever believe me if I tell you I'm working on a "short" story:

1) The plot bunnies keep having babies

2) You can pry my extravagantly vibrant descriptions from my cold, dead hands

3) My characters keep answering questions I never asked

4) 30k is short, right?

Well, I feel like a Disney princess now, lol

A bird got stuck inside & struck a window. As I approached, it flew back toward the window, flapping wildly. I asked it to calm down so I could show it how to get out, & it did. I took it outside & put it on a tree. After a few minutes, it flew away 💕

Thank you 😁 It truly is the best place I could possibly be at any given time ❤️

It's a great way to pass the time. 💙📚

If you also needed a reminder that writing books takes time, this is for you: don't worry about feeling like you're not writing fast enough or making enough progress. The simple fact that you're writing AT ALL is enough. You will get there.
