It has been awful this week
Odd compliment but good for you - it means you never stopped learning. I learned this weekend that Volkswagen ran slave farms in Brazil in the 80s. They were just ordered to pay money. And yes, I mean the 1980s.

The slave trade was taught in my middle school for sure in Virginia, as we sadly are the first English colony to purchase slaves. However, I remember it being taught as the “transatlantic slave trade.”
Always learning something new and usually horrendous.
That I knew. I’ve seen estimates of up to 90% of the Native American population being wiped out by small pox etc. but they (allegedly) returned the favor with syphilis.
I am. Is it the transatlantic slave trade? I just googled, and yes the slave trade.
Oh I know that quote. Isn’t it from A Rule Against Murder? A miss translation from French.
Days like this I wonder how I found one of the good ones.
That kitten is obscenely cute. You’ve got the magic touch with cute kittens, puppies, onions…..
I’m loving that snowball is a dirty snowball.
It helps me, Alice. I love the grey

As a self respecting cav, I do in fact occasionally wear orange and blue
I admit, I didn’t vote in the Bush-Gore election :/
I thought you were referring to French voting Trump in 2015. But if not, okay.
You may not care about politics but it sure will care about you.
French did not vote Trump in 2015.
This is shocking - the villages???
Truly. They all expected to be immune to the bonfire
