I put up a little thread yesterday about how this crossword is different from anything I've done in the last few years. Quick explanation: the four long Across answers are kind of jokey, and the answers are all structured similarly. Please enjoy!

So, tomorrow's crossword will be themed, and the plan is to have every 3rd crossword from here on out be themed. I have a bunch of theme ideas, some of which I've been hanging on to for literally years. Very satisfying to be able to finally use them. It feels like I've levelled up! [5/5]

As you may know, I've got a wordlist that I use to create my crosswords, which I put together from scratch. I'm always adding to it. Until recently, I wasn't able to build a crossword around three or four specific long entries, but now the wordlist has grown to the point where I can.

In themeless crosswords, there's none of that, it's just a bunch of words. My crosswords for the last few years, even though every entry is about wrestling, technically they're all themelesses.

There are 2 types of crosswords: themed and themeless. In themed crosswords, there'll be something clever going on where some of the entries, usually the longest Across words, will have some sort of connection. Here's an example. See the alt text for more of an explanation.

Example of a themed crossword. I highlighted the theme entries in yellow: LAKE TROUT, LEFT TACKLE, LAUNDRY, COLD CALLER, and lastly a "revealer" entry that explains what they have in common: they're all things that can be ON THE LINE.

It goes without saying that he's not returning to WWF at that point. I'd say mostly Stampede with the rare occasional ROH shot, assuming his rate was at all affordable. Never really thought about this but we probably missed out on some amazing matches with Bret on the indies in the early 2000s.

Season 5 of Slow Horses is killing it as always. At this point my expectations couldn't be any higher for this show, yet it never disappoints. Roddy Ho bringing a giant anime sword to a gunfight, top drawer stuff.

Cards for the next episodes of Dynamite and Collision. Dynamite has a Kyle Fletcher vs. Kyle O'Reilly rematch which they're calling "Kyle vs. Kyle 2".
