I'm still fucking shaking. While the movie aged very well the further we drift from the 90's it adds a special dimension that makes it a standalone movie in a traditional sense than simply known meta-ly as "the found footage movie" or "the marketing hype movie".

damn. Just finished the movie.

really fucking powerful as a 3 hour film. it really added to the experience from start to finish, with character development as well as setting and theme establishment and the 'vibe' that is taken thought out. It makes the original film feel like a jumpcut.

28 minutes in~ I'm really surprised how much they cut out so far, considering it really develops the characters more as well as a good theme with the concept of movies vs reality.

I guess it's safe to link the movie since it's been up for a good year with no legal incidents yet.

I donno. I think when I was mostly terminally online there was a lot of magical thinking and warped reality. More imagination based.

I don't know if it's just me getting older, or the (rapidly) changing times but I kinda realized the internet doesn't 'feel' like the internet anymore. I can't put my finger on it, but I came to the realization when I was thinking about making some changes in my life and not be 'terminally online'
