Half a day left to vote and 33.42 of eligible Ōtautahi voters have done the thing.

Something has to change. We need the orange guy on TV and other ads telling us when and how to vote, how/where to do a special vote and generally encouraging us to do democracy. What we have now isn't working.

I should note that none of the airport workers I've come across in my years of travel in Aotearoa have been particularly grim-faced or officious. America though, hoooooo boy was that a scary place to navigate security in.
