Who could have foreseen that making a lot of people redundant while doing nothing much to bring the economy back into growth for a whole year would result in high unemployment

It's a mystery for the ages

So if I'm right

Unemployment is up
Inflation is up
The economy is shrinking / stagnating
Interest rates are up

& yet Labour / National are still effectively neck & neck.
This did not age well.

(Article was posted at about 10.20am. Unemployment stats came out at 10.45am. Unemployment is up.) #nzpol

I didn't get my drivers licence until I was 29 years old, never needed one.

Growing up in ChCh in the 70s/80s, I cycled & bussed everywhere, living in Vancouver off & on past 25 years we didn't have a car, or need one, this is fucking weird.

Arsenal vs Chelsea is a hate watch

I want both teams to have 11 red cards & several season & career ending injuries.

This game is NOT what the world of football needs.

You prima donna silver spoon twats - you weren't injured, stand up FFS

97% of central govt expenditure was on responding to and recovering from natural disasters, only 3% spent on risk reduction and resilience.

Yet…“the Government cannot commit to providing financial support for the business case at this stage”.
