Day II of mini #GreatNZRoadie done & dusted.

Subaru XV Hybrid with my custom window inserts has more privacy than the van parked next to me (I am fully lit up inside with laptop on, everything charging). This place, the Orange Sheep is the coolest car camping spot ever.

My car with just the smallest light leak around the rear vision mirror part of the front window parked up for the night in Franz Jospeh township. I have made custom window panels from core-flute board wrapped in guitar case grey felt, gives me complete privacy & crazy warmth

OMG the National Party totally screwed up the vote on the Broadcasting Bill. First they didn’t have signed proxies for the conscience vote. Then they didn’t have the 20 members in the house required for a conscience vote - so the vote is a nullity. Politics 101 learn to count !!!

I worked this scene, a 250m stretch of road 5mins north of Haast township for over an hour alone.

Fantail Falls, the 75ft falls where Fantail Creek meets Awarua (the Haast River) just west of Tioripātea (Haast Pass).

There’s a woman (40s?) & her mum in the bar. Obviously tourists.

So far 3 men have introduced themselves. 2 sat day & tried to charm her.

Each time they leave, the mum pisses herself with laughter.
