Amazing that we could have three Prime Ministers in a row called Chris. Four if Hipkins is still around next year and wins the election (both seem like long shots)

I hate these dot boards. The implication here is that if you put a dot on "Pay equity" then "poverty" doesn't matter to you. Politics is much more nuanced than this, and politicians who use these boards are debasing themselves.

There. I said it.
The issues board at Labour's stall at the Grey Lynn Park Festival on Saturday. "Tackling poverty and inequality in New Zealand" well out ahead of everything else.

The Pacific Islands have to rely on aide funding from NZ and Australia to have representation at a conference on climate change - something they're at the forefront of but had almost zero impact on - and they get flooded out.

This is the perfect metaphor for how fucked the world is.
COP30 Pavilion of pacific Island states. It did rain really hard here in Belém…

NEW: Chris Bishop used housing money to fund a bridge in his electorate his own Govt had killed off.

Officials were against the move and Labour say he shouldn’t have been anywhere near the decision.

Is it cultural appropriation that he signs off his post with "g"?
And just in from Seymour.
This is the intent. Forget whatever flowery words Erica uses. They want your child growing up in a NZ that is blind to its history. That’s not learning, it’s indoctrination.
