I've been experimenting with modifiers to create bowls and modify STLs for 3D printing. When exporting STLs from Blender, the units seem to be off, but I've found that sticking with Blender's default unit of meters and treating it as millimeters seems to work for my slicer. 🧙 ##blender ##b3d

I'm currently making my way through the core courses at CG Cookie. Even though it covers some familiar ground from a previous course, I'm amazed at how differently I'm absorbing the information this time around. ##b3d ##blender

In just 11 days, our house will be filled with 15 energetic 5-year-olds! We've planned some exciting activities, like playing "firefighter." I love how easy it is to devise fun ideas and print them out in no time. ##blender ##b3d
