I've had instant tonkotsu before! The broth is pretty similar, but yeah it's missing all the fixings. I was really lucky with this restaurant. I've been wanting to go there forever but never realized how "authentic" it was. what kind of Asian cuisine do you typically have over there?

in the event some of y'all didn't know, the "star" shaped white things with the red swirls are called narutomaki (naruto for short) and is made of fish paste! the red is a dye. tbh i thought it was egg at first as it has the same hard-boiled consistency. it's good!

We are a colonial country with a million things to atone for but Thanksgiving is not one of them.

Our Thanksgiving is timed with the harvest and it's literally just "Be grateful for harvest"
