May the New Year bring everyone the strength and hope to burn their brightest, bring light to darkness and bring forth others from their slumber. I believe in America, now I want to believe in Americans again. It’s time to remove the hatred, viciousness and cruelty toward each other. Rise up, now.

My wish is simple. May the good angels of this world reclaim their worth. May we recognize their service and work to promote them and it. May greed and avarice negate each other and may benevolence flow forth. May we begin to appreciate each other rather than fear others. May we love and be loved!!

To all the people harping on the military for not marching well - consider the possibility they were protesting their involvement by this farcical President. I’m former military. Even if ordered to do something, they can’t control how well it’s done. I say, “Well Done!!”

I’m sorry. I’m very sorry and need to apologize. I need to apologize to the men and women who are currently parading in Washington in celebration of the Army and Navy 250 Birthday. The attendance is quite meager, embarrassingly so. We respect you, all of you. We do not, and can not respect Trump.

In my seventy years I have become tired, disillusioned and fearful for our Country. Seeing the many MILLIONS of ordinary Americans demonstrating their love for this country has rejuvenated my calloused heart. I have always believed in the idea of America. I am happy to see has found its spirit.
