Many cities and neighborhoods in the DC area had a No Kings rally. These are the people who would have travelled to DC for the events. So it makes sense there wasn't a big crowd there . But there were many crowds in the area.

This administration is terrified of its own citizens speaking up! Governor Greg Abbott has once again activated the Texas National Guard ahead of the second No Kings event, specifically targeting Austin, and labeling the rally a “planned Antifa-linked demonstration.”

If you are attending a No Kings Rally today please continue the non violence ethos that’s driving the White House nuts.

There will be right wing agitators in the crowd (dressed as ‘antifa’) form a circle around them and point them out to the police who will be there. Make them do their jobs.
