in 10 years of living in ATL, the bulk of people disgruntled with the city come here already jaded with the city or have a false belief it will be different then the city they are leaving. but they havent done any work to change themselves.

I've seen people do that in a lot of different cities I've visited or lived. It's tiresome to hear because you're right. No one is forcing them to live there. And no one is forcing them into bad experiences. If they don't like there, then they should leave 🤣
