I don’t think that’s a bad idea at all. It would be a way of testing the system, getting officials on the record in terms of whether or not they will enforce the law.

I’ve been saying this for the last 5 years or more. The nation is at war but only one side is fighting. There have been multiple acts of political violence in the last two weeks by MAGA, but it has become normalized in our culture. These people are looking for a fight.

I worked at a bar in the French Quarter in New Orleans for over a decade and I noticed that this is a go-to move among fraternity white boys. On most Saturdays the patio at this bar was indistinguishable from the GOP house chamber so I’m not surprised.
