I'll try to put in some time and play all these games this week.
i usually don't vote in awards stuff except for the steam awards, but there I just vote for the 1 game in each category that i actually played, and that feels like I'm contributing to making it a popularity contest

Dispatch is more than just an excellent narrative game about superheroes. It's also a simple, but interesting, management sim.

there were definitely times where I was like "god i don't want to do this work shit, the team needs me" but as soon as I got into it, I was always impressed by how well the shifts told a story and improved the pacing. and they were really fun too

what I love about solo game development is the set of difficult problems one gets presented with. There's infinite possibility to learn and grow across the multiple disciplines that make up game dev. One day it's bug fixes, the next day its lighting design, the variety of challenge is amazing.

i used to stream, talked about indie games, game design, all that kinda stuff
eventually realized that trying to educate Gamers on games, art, and the work that goes into gamedev was exhausting and making me hate games
then i tried making games instead, I'm much happier and creatively fulfilled :)

highly recommend this font pack
using free fonts is... free, yeah, but dubious licensing, unapproved reposts, missing characters, and horribly configured fonts are a constant + terrible headache
with this pack you won't run into any of those issues, and you'll probably have a font for ANY occasion
