People forget that the entire purpose of pepper spray in this context is as an alternative to lethal force. Is this photo proof the alternative was to shoot this pastor in the face? If not, nor should they have used the pepper spray.

I've traveled extensively in Asia, Australasia, Europe, and in each of the Americas, including the Caribbean. I've been black with a very well-used passport for 55.5 of my 56 years, 2020 was the first year of my life not leaving North America, and my post-secondary education is in anthropology.
