PD day at the Fisher Rare Books Library
They always have an interesting display of some of their books for the public.

Here we have Finnegan’s Wake and a description of why this copy is considered “rare”; It is accompanied by an artist’s interpretation of the same text.

#Books

A Iicture taken from the centre of the panopticon. About five floors of books surround you on all sides. You are encased in glass. A display of rare books are open for you to view at your level. Above a long light, looking like a huge insect strip hangs above the centre of the room.

A first edition of Finnegan’s Wake. It has been annotated. It was once owned by Marshall McLuhan.

A cut-up and knitted edition of Finnegan’s Wake.The book lies open. Its red cover frames the black and white pages of the book.
