My mum never had dementia but the things that came out of her mouth after surgery when she was still under the influence of anaesthetics. Makes me blush just recalling it!

Or maybe the introduction of vaccines led to the public health message changing from "measles is a normal childhood illness and this is what families need to know in order to care for their children" to "measles is a life-threatening illness that you must avoid at all costs".
