They're not warming up to blue candidates, so they're still MAGA

They're not walking away from Trump, they're just not walking towards him
And they're definitely not going on the other direction

So, to me, this is making my point

Look at the states and the worker backgrounds and about half are MAGA

Then, the DC jobs are 1/4 in DC and the rest live in VA, DE, MD & PA(mostly)

VA & PA are conservative leaning states and these are conservative leaning jobs & maga blames dems for the firings

Most Americans i know would leave here in a second, but were very limited on working outside the country
Living abroad? Sure. But how do I make money?

Oh, it just came up in conversations (I talk to everyone, lol)
I think, because we have a strong passport and can travel to many places, and there are so many movies and TV shows and large multinational corps, that we can also work anywhere- but we definitely can not

I bring this up because they think we have more freedom than we do- more freedoms than they have. Economically, in some places, yes, but our freedom to move around and live in different cultures is severely limited

In EU, MANY people asked "Why you don't just move here and get a job?"
Most thought it was easy for Americans to move anywhere and get a job- even tho they don't know almost any Americans who work in their cities

But since people from Spain work in IT, DE,etc, some thought it was similar for us

This is my exact point- the facts are that in random elections, dems squeeked by. But in actual blue places, dem numbers are down
We'll see in 6 months, but it's not looking good

That's my worry tho- these are a few, small elections and dems are pinning all their hopes on some random stuff.

In my experience, people who are in fed jobs vote how their community votes and fed jobs are everywhere
Same for teachers, car workers, etc
But, we'll see

I don't think dems are going to do well in the mid terms

That "feeling" just isn't in the air

When I say this, here or IRL, some go INSANE

"You're crazy! If you say that you're just giving in!" Blahblahblah

I'm all BLUE- but I'm also realistic & a planner
