NEW: Israel has committed at least 497 ceasefire violations, killing at least 342 Palestinians since the U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel & Hamas went into effect on Oct. 10.

A reminder: there is no such thing as “too many” kids being trans. We should nurture young trans people with the social, medical, and legal resources to flourish.

Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. All women — Indigenous, sex worker, racialised, disabled, trans, queer, elder, maternal, single, married, childless, religious, poor etc — deserve to flourish in a world without men and governments policing their lives.

The good folks at @transactualuk.bsky.social have been collecting testimonies from trans and non-binary people in the UK harassed for trying to use gendered public spaces. Gender policing is intensifying and violating people’s dignity. We must disrupt such forms of institutionalised transphobia.
We have been tracking people’s experiences with gendered spaces and our new report looks at the impact of the 2025 EHRC interim update on access to, and experiences within, gendered spaces in the UK.

LGBT folk being more visible in schools is not a “legitimate reason” for homo/transphobia.

Women not wanting to date you is not a “legitimate reason” for misogyny.

There’s no “legitimate reason” for bigotry.

A reminder: there is nothing feminist about enforcing a static biological definition of sex and insisting on gender policing based on how “manly” or “womanly” a person appears. These are logics of fascism. Just saying.
