It's actually insane how consumer-pilled your average person is.

Perhaps the computer boom of the 80's-2000's warped everybody's brains to assume the best of every new thing, but I'm *heavily* in favor of whatever makes us take a step back and critically analyze what these software services are.

The sad part is I'm already seeing it happen with family members and co-workers. And they're all privileged enough to not care about any of it.

I would've thought this "it's extremely unprofitable" angle would've helped vs. the usual "ethical" arguments, but nooooooope. It's insane...🙃🙃

The issue is convincing your everyday consumer to participate.

And as the past five years alone have shown, there are just too many uneducated and/or individualistic people for it happen organically. They just want whatever is the easiest and cheapest to consume.
