I am celebrating #NoKings by sharing this map I created this morning, of US Congressional districts, colored by shape complexity. Red means it's a top 20% risk of gerrymandering. It is easy as pie to regulate voting district shape complexity, to stop gerrymandering forever.

I propose a free trade. Canada will draw US district electoral maps. And the US will draw Canada's district electoral maps. We agree that no district will have a fractal dimension higher than 2.05.

When someone on social media says that Poilievre is insane it's understood that this is not a clinical diagnosis. It's an emotional reaction. It's a justified reaction to somebody who constantly says and does inexplicably weird things.

I don't need to "know what I mean" if my purpose is to communicate to the grievance class. Intellectualizing about fascists is how the US lost its battle. Trump is weird Miller is weird. Thiel is weird. What do we mean when we say fascists are weird? Poilievre is weird.

The problem is that's not language that the grievance class understands. And they are the ones who have to understand what's the problem with this guy. Because he definitely has a complex.

As the neighbor to the north that knows you better than any other, it is horrifying to watch this from Canada. I love America. All we can do is hope lessons are learned as you regain control and apply justice to the beast in 2026. But there is ao much that can and will go wrong between now and then.
