In recent years, trust in #science has been challenged. Interestingly, this study across 68 countries in @nature.com found that most people trust scientists, and think that they should engage more in #society and #policy making. A clear call to increase #sciencecommunication efforts.

What is the state of trust in scientists around the world? To answer this question, the authors surveyed 71,922 respondents in 68 countries and found that trust in scientists is moderately high.

This is impressive. China is investing in 16GWh battery storage, which could supply 1/3 of Germany, for a reasonable cost of 1 billion €. BTW, why do Germans and English use different terms when they use high numbers?
