The final workstream in EDIFY is about arts-based knowledge mobilisation.

Four artists-in-residence at EDIFY worked across illustration, textile, digital media, sculpture and animation — bringing research findings to life through personal stories.

EDIFY's STORY study has recruited 941 participants using remote measurement and speech recordings to explore what helps or hinders recovery from eating disorders.

They have found important language and vocal clues that might indicate eating disorders.

EDIFY are developing this understanding into a novel staging model of eating disorders.

The spiral model acknowledges that recovery is possible at every stage. This will be adapted with the findings from EDIFY studies.

Our study surveyed 100 students and interviewed 18 to uncover their struggles with Eating Disorders support. Many lacked awareness of available services or found them unsuitable.
