Paying the ultimate sacrifice

MLB 3rd baseman Eddie Grant, Harvard Law 1909, was the first MLB player to die during WW I. He was killed by German fire trying to rescue the "Lost Battalion" on 10/5/18

With 150K people demanding the 37K tickets for the 1st game of the 1924 #WorldSeries  starting on 10/4/1924 in Washington, D.C., police were ordered not to arrest scalpers as long as they were licensed ticket brokers.
