Trump is never able to be anything other than who he is — even amidst tragedies like Rob Reiner’s death. Cruelty is always the point.

This is so sad. I imagine Rob Reiner worried about his son constantly as Nick dealt with addiction. I'm sure it broke his heart more times than he could imagine and he probably hoped his son would recover.

Two things:

1: they had been saying as late as July that the economy would take off mid Q4

2. This baseless power of positive thinking is exactly how the dealt with COVID. “Cases are about to go into steep decline…”
President Trump and his advisers have an almost messianic belief the economy will take off in the first quarter of next year.

Trump's bullish belief is key to understanding why he's so reluctant to say there's an "affordability crisis."

I have a friend who recently gave me a speech similar to the below. He ended it with the analogy that if your career didn’t turn into a rocket ship between 2010 - 2022 then at this point you missed it and your job is to land the plane.

Careers in tech are only going to get harder not easier.

A: …this specific one it was actually picked up by the, by the FBI, and they followed through with it, and they ended up coming and locating this individual of interest.

I'm listening to the live press conference still. Reporters are being extremely aggressive with officials. (So unlike NYC.)

They're pounding the officials because they expect video evidence. They have a hard time believing it doesn't exist. Officials explained it's an old building with few cameras.
RI Attorney General Peter Neronha says the evidence has led investigators in a different direction, resulting in the release of the person of interest. “We have not yet solved this case, but I’m confident we’re going to do that”
