@tk.gg Should I expect YouTube live urls to work in the grid? I've tried a couple, and it seems to get all the YT chrome populated into the pane, title and all, but then it just spins.

Is a YT stream too far from what the grid wrapper wants to hand to the browser to work?

@tk.gg Just started digging back into MythTV, and in the current world, IPTV and the github project which led me to you.

And I love nearly everything about Grid, but I have 3 minor RFEs:

1) Bright yellow box follows the audio
2) Ability to put audio back to sleep
3) Zoom FS vid to aud - HotkeyF

I've gotten dropped into a PowerPoint project, and I'm exceedingly disheartened with Libre Impress, which -- apparently, even in v25 -- just can't do about half the very basic things I need done reasonably.

Well, I've been very happy with my AfterShokz headset, until the cap just popped off one earpiece, and I learned that *they won't repair it* (or even just sell me a replacement Little Plastic Cap).

My recommendation now is "buy the $25 Temu knock off, people, not theirs."

Yeah, this won't be D's shutting down the government, it will be R's, who are abdicating their responsibilities.

Great that you're throwing in with the R's there, though, WaPo.
Democrats are demanding that at least some cuts to Obamacare be reversed in exchange for their support of a funding bill, while Republicans are daring Democrats to risk shutting down the government over the issue.

Amazingly, none of my space tubers, like @scottmanley.bsky.social or @amyshirateitel.bsky.social seem to have covered that Trump apparently murdered NASA last month:

So we should give President Bartlet the same amout of credit for the state of the country as President Obama, then? Do I have it right?
this from my piece on charlie kirk is probably the most important takeaway if you want to know why bad faith, right-wing voices in media are treated as just another set of peers

Hopefully, Democrats won't cave, and instead stick the Republicans with the consequences of their actions.
House Republicans are planning to extend government funding until mid-November to buy more time for bipartisan spending negotiations and avoid an Oct. 1 federal shutdown.
