U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

4 federal agents pull over an elderly US citizen for the suspected crime of being brown, break her car window, throw her to the ground, then drive off after they find her US Passport in her purse. The Salem Police, when called, say there’s nothing they can do. www.salemreporter.com/2026/01/31/u...

Why did the judge sign the warrant? Or perhaps, more importantly why is it under seal? Most importantly, why was Tulsi there. Are the US intelligence agencies involved? Finally, are there plans to seek testimony from the ousted leader in the ATL FBI office?
Why is the President sending the FBI to Fulton County instead of going after violent criminals, organized crime, and pedophile rings?

Because he knows the people have turned against him and his only option left is to attack free elections.

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

The Senate may choose to vote together on the DHS and LHHS bills. Thus, a filibuster on DHS may mean no funding for NIH. What my colleagues are saying:

Senate Dems needn’t come to agreement on everything right now. That’s a path to the lowest common denominator. They simply have to agree to filibuster DHS approps. As to which of a host of anti-brutality and anti-authoritarian proposals to advance, let a thousand flowers bloom.

Thank you, Senator. This is a good start.
Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.

To those blaming Walz for not mobilizing the Guard, he did that six days ago. I have to say it's disturbing to see people angry at Walz instead of the government agents that just executed a man. As though we should all be experts about what to do when a secret police force invades an American city.

So glad I saw this today. Reading more DW is always a great idea, especially now. His prose in Consolations is gold. I don’t agree with Sam Harris on everything, but I was thrilled when he shared Whyte’s work and voice via Waking Up.
