Just South of Winnipeg Canada is Pinewood MN, location of the headwaters for the mighty Mississippi. The traditional and recognized source of the Mississippi River is Lake Itasca. The river stretches 2552 miles emptying into the Gulf of Mexico about 100 miles downstream from New Orleans.

An American friend got me hooked on this a couple of years ago and it was very upsetting that I could never find it in Canada…until now! I found a company in Ottawa that sells it and ships it, although shipping cost as much as the sauce. 😅😋
