This variegated form is already a mutation.

It's an unstable somatic mutation so it can sometimes spontaneously take over or disappear from new buds.

There is a possibility that all subsequent leaves will be white, with no chlorophyll.

This kills the plant.

You can chop the plant at a previous node that shows some green and hope the next bud won't be all white.

This monstera albo borsigiana has all white new growth.

She only has 4 leaves so I'm hoping the next leaf will have some chlorophyll, I'm reluctant to chop her down at this size. 🤞

Went to the Tokyo Alley artist event with @darthhelmet.bsky.social and it was fun. Then I bumped into an old friend @jondog.bsky.social and grabbed lunch.
