This reminds me of past situations where leaders prioritized optics and deals over real outcomes. History tends to judge harshly when negotiations disregard the agency and rights of smaller nations. Ukraine’s sovereignty is non-negotiable if we take international law seriously.
This smells like outright collusion with Russia to me. Trump shrugs it off as what a dealmaker does: sell the plan to Ukraine, sell the plan to Russia. He says “we must end this war” and thinks he deserves the Nobel Prize??? Not if it's at the cost of Ukraine’s sovereignty.
