I feel bummed for the devs in a partner showcase. It’s supposed to be a positive thing, getting to show your hard work in a Nintendo backed presentation. But since it’s a direct with no first party anything, it’s seen as 30 straight minutes of the boring parts between Mario and Zelda announcements.

Man Overwatch was one of my favorite games 10 years ago. It bums me out that it became a poster child for microtransactions, loot boxes, and…whatever the hell they were thinking with the sequel.
