Later at that same 7-11 I bought a Toad plushie and I remember the clerk, who was an older woman, said “here’s your booger.”

My older brother was looking for this in wal mart at the time and some kid picked up the last copy and asked his mom to get it for him. She said maybe so the kid sneakily hid it in another isle for later.
Anyway after the kid left my brother took it and that’s how we were able to beat Zelda.
