I feel that. I dont need crazy levels of detail, sure they might be cool when you first notice, but unless its part of the core gameplay I'll generally forget about it.

My potential hot take: I dont really care about frame rates. 30 or 60, whatever. Ocarina of Time was 20. Frame drops dont bother me either unless its actively effecting the gameplay and its laggy. Game dev is hard, but people want RDR horse balls level of detail and it has to run perfectly.
