It is so frustrating how many artists are still using twitter. I peek on there occasionally just to scroll out of morbid curiosity but I’m shocked how many amazing artists I wanna see here are still fucking Over THERE

I would say there’s weirdly almost an argument for Panty and Stocking actually being feminist, (at least panty and stocking themselves as characters) but even then I’m certain that’s not what the creators are going for. Funny rude women shows are just rare

I just think some ppl feel like they’re not allowed to enjoy something messy without convincing themselves there’s some deep progressive message in there. No, sometimes stuff is just made by horny dudes and you can read into it how you want but dont start LYING about it 😂

Women getting power from SA/sexualization is not a bad message in its own right but when it’s written by men and shown in the most gratuitous male gazey ways possible I think there’s a simpler explanation for the message/intent than feminism
