also it fuels a lot my my hc about red anyway. pretty normal kid, with average home life thrust into the spotlight with his unnatural talent for exactly one thing. even that can't save him from the Horrors of being perceived and known.
i think its kind of been assumed that the kanto player characters don't have a dad in the picture, but its probably more correct to say that their dad is a busy salaryman commuting back n forth from the burbs to the city. probably sees their kid enough to talk about sports w/ them. yeah.

i figured that moving my legs this morning would help with the pain so i got on my bike for like. 15 minutes. and this was a mistake despite it being kind of light exercise bc now my knees feel heavy

i haven't mentioned this as the greatest hater of charizard's redesign for SV, but im so glad they kept the design accurate to atsuko nishida's og design for the mega charizards instead changing them for consistency or something silly like that.
