This is so true. I always tell my students that English is a mix of Germanic languages combined with Nordic viking languages, French and drunk Irish. Of course it doesn't make any sense. I know people will fight me on this but really it doesn't fit nicely into any language families either.

Every time I see a ThinkPad running Windows, especially an older model, I mutter, 'This wasn't meant to be.' LOL . The poor thing! It's practically begging for Arch Linux and a tiling window manager. Someone please get this machine a copy of neofetch and a decent .bashrc! 😂
