Some programmers get upset how variable names are not descriptive enough or too long, which case they should use.
That's nothing. I nearly suffer breakdowns when one of my classes has a function called
"hud_update()" but another has "activate_something()". IS THE VERB FIRST OR LAST?

Man... starting with Episode 2, the Heretic Remaster looks more like a Heretic Remake.
Again, it's cool cause I appreciate the variety. But it's not cool cause they ship that as the default and the option to switch back is kinda hidden.
I hope Hexen got the same treatment cause THAT GAME NEEDS IT.

Fun fact: When I made Doki Doki Gravity Dive, I didn't really grasp the concept of inheritance just yet. I mean I just came from C, so it was a bit alien.
So you gotta understand, a lot of functions were copied and pasted, whole classes, scripts, so it got a little confusing.

Each time I play QUAKE, I spend an hour debugging why the music doesn't work until I realize that it does and it's just random noises.

Currently playing the Heretic Remaster cause it's one of the games I like to play near the end of the year. And since I played Heretic a billion times already, the Remaster is perfect - not just because of the new episodes but also the "gameplay improvements" Nightdive added.

It's baffling that we were able to define a sorta standard for how mouse movement translates to head look in FPS games (forward is up, backward is down) and then have an invert setting for those who want it.

I recently shared my thoughts on Silent Hill 2 Remake and how I like it for many reasons. Important for me is what a Remake adds to what already existed. I felt SH2 Remake did this well - but I was only halfway through. Now I just finished "Abstract Daddy" and... yeah my feelings weren't premature.

I still have not given up hope to see Metroid Prime 2 & 3 Remasters on Switch. We got the first game. And 4 will be out in less than 2 weeks. Feels off to not have 2 and 3 on the same system. But it's Nintendo, so I don't expect common sense here.

Finished Star Trek: Prodigy and I didn't expect to feel all those things.
Wow.
Of the new Trek shows, it's one of the best. Might actually be my favorite. Usually a Trek show takes a season or two to find itself, but Prodigy gave it all from beginning to end.
