I can't imagine doing any other type of nursing. Community nursing simply is the BEST role

19yrs since I left hospital without a job, reconsidering my nursing career, wondering what other jobs I could do.

It's not easy to prioritise 15-20 mins daily on wellbeing, but the #DailyMile has helped me do just that during July

❔where schools rely on special school nurses on site to administer medications & feeds, CCNs have to cover in their absence, impacting on community patients.
The alternative is that pupils can't attend school.

🗣️Talking through a risk assessment with school staff before any training is undertaken.
